How I Found My Life Purpose

03/25/2020

Have you ever wondered what your purpose in this life is? I think this question is asked by every human in this planet at some point in time. Some of us are lucky enough to figure this out really quickly in life and some, well, we really have to ask about a half a million times before we know. No matter what religion you believe in, we all know deep down we were made individually unique to serve differently in this world. I mean, the Universe, God, Creator, or what you believe in, can't simply send us all here to live a life where we work a 9 to 5 job, Monday through Friday, stressed about bills and worried about what's on TV this week.

When we truly know what our skills are and what we came in human form to this planet for, we truly get over taken by this love for life. And when you truly love life, you start to take care of your mind, body and spirit. You now love everyone and everything unconditionally and you are motivated to become a better version of yourself. You have thoughts, words, skills, and wisdom that NO ONE else has and it'd be a shame if you were to keep the world away from that. So I want to share with you how I got in touch with my calling, what my goals are and how you can find your purpose too!

First, I would like to say that I don't label myself under any region but that does not mean I don't believe in something greater than us, I just happen to call it Universe. So, having said that, I started my journey to the path of my calling by firmly believing I had my own unique and special reason for being here. The rest of my tips won't work if you don't believe this for yourself. For a while, I changed my mind constantly between nursing and social worker. To heal people mentally, physically and emotionally is what I want to do, but I want to do it holistically, I just did not know how. So, I asked for guidance. I asked the Universe and my spirit guides for guidance daily. I asked with my thoughts, I asked through prayer, and I asked through writing. I also spent time with nature to find stillness within me and really understand what ideas came from me or if I was being influenced by society. I read books and researched topics and I had conversations with people but most importantly, I had hope. Once you start looking, it's hard to miss the signs and soon I started seeing signs everywhere. Thats how IIN came into play.

When I joined IIN to become a Health Coach, I really had no idea what I was signing up for. As I continue on this course, what I love the most it's how the program encourages you to truly tap into your inner wisdom to set intentions on what is you want from the program and life. I suddenly went from not knowing what I wanted from life, to knowing my purpose. From feeling stuck, to accomplishing my goals and from unmotivated to ready to take on the world. I made this list the first week of November, 2019 and it's now serving me as a daily reminder for motivation.

Some of my goals are really far away and some are simple, weekly things. Some have to do with career, some have to do with lifestyle. Some sound silly to me now and some sound totally doable. No matter how silly or impossible some of your desires are, know that anything and everything is possible when your intentions are pure. Remind yourself, constantly, how special and unique you are. My list is here to inspire you to think outside the box and to motivate you to find your dharma (life purpose).

I would like to hear in the comments below what your life purpose is.

Thanks for stopping by!

With love,

Carolina.
